For assignments over 5 items, this can be charged per hour or on a per item basis based on the complexity of the items.  

With today‘s modern technology, we can sometimes perform a virtual appraisal based on lab reports from a reputable laboratory, sales receipts, or from previous appraisals. While this is not a main part of our business, new engagement ring appraisals and certain jewelry can usually be performed virtually. Contact us to see if your item qualifies. 

We specialize in unbiased, independent consultation for those in the market for engagement rings and diamond buying.  Sort through all the internet noise.  Education on the 4 C's, engagement ring styles and how that relates to sales price.  After the first hour, fees are broken down by 30 min increments.

Many times a client does not want a written appraisal for their jewelry and would like a verbal "appraisal" to find out what the approximate value of their scrap gold or jewelry may be.  We can evaluate your jewelry and/or gold and give you an approximate price you may receive on the open market. We are happy to help provide options on how to get the best deal.

Is it real?  What did I inherit?  Price based on single stones either mounted or unmounted.  Parcels of mixed gemstones are charged on an hourly basis (Contact for info).

With our traveling gem lab, we are able to provide appraisal services at your location (Home, Bank, Attorney's office, etc.).  Our fees are billed for the first hour, then charged at 1/2 per/hr after. 

We offer concierge services to those wanting to submit their diamonds and gemstones to the GIA in NYC for laboratory reports.  Price is based on time to pack, ship and insure these items.  Diamonds will need to be removed from their setting before submission.  All other gemstones can be submitted mounted.  The client is responsible for all GIA fees including return shipping.  A schedule of fees are located here.
